TDB Consultants Inc. has openings for experienced and inexperienced seasonal Wildland Fire Fighters for work fighting forest fires in Prince George and surrounding areas.
This position will require delivering accurate weigh scaling and log quality data to the company’s clients in a fast paced, high volume environment.
This position will require grading logs and estimating the marketable content or value of logs or pulpwood in sorting yards. This position will also require the candidate to inspect logs for defects and measure logs to determine volume.
The Forestry Field Assistant is responsible for supporting project teams in all aspects of multiphase timber development by assisting other forestry professionals with land navigation, data collection and data recording.
The Forest Technician is responsible for providing technical expertise and support to project teams in all aspects of multiphase timber development as well as data collection, data recording, and land navigation.
The GIS Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of intermediate technical work in the development and maintenance of GIS data, applications, procedures and standards; and for supporting the creation of mapping products by processing raw data into final deliverable products.
