Dick Mynen, CGS – President, CEO

Specializing in Business Administration and Development, Geomatics, GIS, Surveying & Carbon Modeling. Dick is a graduate from the Alberta Institute of Technology in Photogrammetry, also a graduate of Advanced GIS from the College of New Caledonia and Business Administration from the University of Northern British Columbia. Dick leads the role of TDB’s development process, identifying new markets and clientele while providing technical support and oversight to all sectors of the company. Dick has been active in various TDB partnerships and interests including LHI Tutl’it Services Inc., Borealis Carbon Offsets Ltd., the Northern Resource Solutions Group and CNRG International.
Mark Green – Senior Operations Manager and Safety Officer
25+ years with TDB.
Mark is an integral part of TDB’s team having worked in the resource sector for more than 30 years. Mark has performed various roles at TDB including Supervisor, Project Manager, Log Scaling Manager to Senior Operations Manager where he oversees Log Scaling, Vegetation, Construction and TDB’s services in Renewable Energy with wind farm support services. His broad knowledge in forestry, construction procedures, and safety policies has made Mark a key contributor to the daily operations at TDB. Mark has extensive experience in organizing and planning projects, including scheduling, cost control, and fostering the success of TDB overall safety record.
Joel Runtz – Senior Operations Manager
15+ years with TDB.
With many years of expertise in the forestry industry, Joel is a graduate from the Forest Technology Program at the CNC. Joel first came to TDB as a Forestry Technician and quickly moved up to take on more responsibility and larger projects. Joel has managed many of our urban small scale and fire fuels vegetation management projects and has extensive field experience in all aspects of multi-phase forestry development. Joel later became the Forestry Manager, and it wasn’t long before he assumed the position of Senior Operations Manager, responsible for both vegetation and forestry projects. Joel’s’ extensive background in forest road layout and forest road construction helps to bring TDB’s services to the forefront of our industry.
Michelle Wood – Controller
15+ years with TDB.
With a rich background in accounting and finance management, Michelle manages TDB’s Accounting and Administration Department. Michelle is a graduate of Accounting and Finance at the College of New Caledonia and is currently enrolled in a CMA program with the University of Northern British Columbia. Michelle is an extremely proficient and capable administrator and a strong asset to TDB’s team.
